National Development Program through industrial fishing in the Gulf of Guinea and the African Continent
AAGGF BACKGROUND
The official launch by the President and Vice President of Nigeria on the 24th of May, 2019 marked the commencement of the implementation of the project, the aim was to establish a National Development Program through industrial fishing and associated seafood/fisheries production and value chain processing in Nigeria. This initiative was born out of a need to address subsistence fishing, youth restiveness and unemployment, illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing and to reduce Nigeria's dependency on fish imports.

AAGGF OBLIGATIONS
Ensuring sustainability and legal compliance in fishing operations.
Developing local skills and creating employment opportunities. Ensuring the revival of the fishing industry in Nigeria and availability of Fresh fish in various parts of the country through integrated Depots in each of the six geo-political zones and Solar Powered Cold-rooms.
Off-Taking capacity for fishing individuals and cooperatives in the Niger Delta region with capacity to extend into the international export market.

AAGGF Scope/ Focus
Operating in the Gulf of Guinea (GoG) region encompassing 18 countries with Nigeria as the HQ. Collaborating with EU/Greece/Korea on/offshore technical partners in AAGGF ltd. Building infrastructure like construction of Boat yards, Processing plants, Depots and Solar cold rooms. Construction of on and offshore Aquaculture Farms in 7 Coastal States and Dams in the middle belt and Northern parts of Nigeria.
